Apple Announces WWDC 2012, June 11 – 15



Apple has officially announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference is set for June 11 – 15 in San Francisco. The event will take place at the Moscone Center and provide first looks at the latest iOS. Tickets for the conference went on sale April 25th for $1,599, selling out completely within two hours of availability.


“We have a great WWDC planned this year and can’t wait to share the latest news about iOS and OS X Mountain Lion with developers,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “The iOS platform has created an entirely new industry with fantastic opportunity for developers across the country and around the world.”

In the past, the WWDC conference has been used to announce new products and services such as the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iCloud. At last years conference iOS 5 was announced. Thousands of people rushed to get their UDID activated on websites like iOSUDIDS.com


This year it is expected that iOS 6 will be announced with several new features and enhancements. Here what we are expecting:

  • Automatic app updates option
